She was born in 1990 at Berlin, Germany. She graduated from Parsons School of Design, New York in 2013.
In her works she combined traditional techniques with modern motifs and media, based on her childhood memories in Turkey and the time she spent at her grandmother's loom. She produced large-scale, sculpture like tapestries that were integrated with her personal history and cultural identity. In her dynamic and naive works, which are the record of her life and journeys; the variety of materials and production techniques she uses creates a formal and conceptual effect.
Desire Moheb-Zandi, who opened 4 solo exhibitions in the United States and France; has participated in more than 20 group exhibitions in the important galleries and museums in Germany, Belgium, America and Africa, continues her life and works in Paris.
