He was born in Shijak in 1957 (Albania). He has graduated from the Monumental Painting at the Arts Institue in Tirana in 1983. In the same Institue, he finished his post-graduation in Program of Art Criticism. In 2013, he has nominated as a Doctor in Albanian Studies. In 1983-1997, the artist had been teaching in “Jan Kukuzeli” Arts High School. In 1997-1999, he was teaching as an outsider professor at the Higher Institute of Fine Arts in Tirana. He was working as Art Department Director at the International Cultural Center in 2002-2005. He worked as a General Director of the National Gallery of Arts. In 2005-2007, he has worked as a Promotion and Marketing Chief of EDISUD SPA Gazeta Shqiptare. In 2009-2010, he was a Director of the Cultural Center of Army. In 2012-2013, he was the Vice Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth, and Sports. He continues his assignment as Vice Mayor in the Municipality of Tirana. Dr. Abaz Hado has participated in 7 Biennales, 2 triennials, and various group exhibitions and opened 9 solo exhibitions in Tirana, Durres, Japan, Holland, Austria, and Turkey. His works can be found in numerous public and private collections in Turkey and abroad. He continues his works in Albania.
