She was born in Ankara at 1969. She completed her education firstly at Marmara University, Department of Industrial Design, and then at Westminster University Harrow College of the Polytechnic of Central London, in Department of Silver Work and Jewelry.
Özsoy, who bases his minimalist sculptures on organic forms; operates with many materials such as polyester, felt, brass, bronze and marble. Forcing materials to go against their own nature. She discovers a gap in and belonging to consciousness, As a metaphor for modern life. She experiences a displacement between material that is "organic" and the form in negative space. With this experience she expands consciousness as permanent living condition through its absence. She invites the audience to replace material objects; space is a part of reality.
The sculptures of Özsoy have been exhibited in various public spaces like private and corporate collections, especially in Istanbul Modern since the 1990s.
She continues her life and works in Istanbul.
