KAMİL AKMANOV
Kamil Akmanov was born in Başkortostan ASSR in 1949. After graduating from the Kazan Architecture Academy in 1978, he lived and worked in the city of Bugulma (Russian Federation, Republic of Tatarstan). His creative path started 30 years ago with small clay sculptural forms. Over time, he found the love of his life: "fusion" (high-temperature melting of glass). He achieved perfection in this technique by applying various techniques such as double melting, multi-layer drawing, relief contour.
The works of the artist are in the collection of the Republic of Tatarstan State Art Museum. Kamil Akmanov's works have participated in more than 30 major exhibitions in Russia. He opened 12 personal exhibitions. He is a member of Tatarstan and the Russian artists' union.
