He was born in Goseong, Korea at 1977. He completed his undergraduate and graduate education in the Sculpture Department of Changwon National University.

The artist, has works that are located places such as Gyeongsangnam-do Government Complex, Geoje and Yangjiam Sculpture Park. He tries to show the connection and flow of life with an intuitive view with the title of “Forest of Coexistence”.

Kang Dong Hyun, opened 9 solo exhibitions and participated in many group exhibitions in Seoul, Busan and Changwon. He lives and works in Seoul.
