He was born in Izmir at 1980. He graduated from Anadolu University Faculty of Education, Visual Arts Department in 2001.
He opened nine solo exhibitions in total, including the one he had at Danville Museum of Fine Arts and History in the USA. He participated in many exhibitions such as France Paris Louvre SNBA Carousel Hall Turkish Delegation Salon Exhibition at 2015-2016, Torun Museum Okregowe Ala Turque Exhibition in Poland at 2015 and Miami Art Expo in the USA at 2012. He participated in many national and international symposiums and has awarded with important international art awards.
Raşit Altun, has his works in various collections. He continues his life and works in Eskişehir.
