He was born in Breda, Netherlands at 1958. He graduated from the Sint Joost Academy of Fine Arts.

Until mid-1990s the artist used montage, collage and retouching techniques on photography. In 1995 he switched to a digital process for creating conceptual photographs. He made a difference in digital art photography. The sense of perfection is reflected down to the smallest detail in his works. While challenging temporal structures in his works that made by highest level digital technology, he foregrounds awarenes with universal themes.

The artist, who awarded with 1981 "Sint Joost Award", 1993 "Charlotte Kolher Award", 2001 "H.N.Werkmann Award", 2013 "Breda oeuvre Award", 2017 "Artist of the Year", continues his life and works in Amsterdam.
