TIMUR KERIM INCEDAYI
He was born in Istanbul at 1942. He studied at the Fine Arts Academy of Rome.
Collaborating with Zeffirelli, the artist designed sets and costumes for "I Pagliacci" and "Cavalleria Rusticana" staged at the Metropolitan Museum in New York. He also directed the works of Silvano Agosti's "N.P. il segreto”, Maurizio Ponzi's “Equinozio” and Roberto Triana Arenas's “Giovanna 7”.
For İncedayı, art is the other form of reality. He loves matter too much to turn it into a shapeless mass. The seductive play he does with the color tones in his palette reflects a rich, intense and warm way to his works. Although his works looks very vitality, it is seen that the main components are technique and imagination.
To this date, he has opened more than 10 solo exhibitions and participated in group exhibitions in Istanbul, Rome, Milan and Geneva. His works are in important private collections in Rome, Istanbul, Genoa, Zurich, Milan and New York.
He continues his live and work in Rome.
